The bundle gives design and construction teams downloadable files they can store locally or in cloud storage and use in compatible third-party applications.
ReCap / AutoCAD Path
An .RCP file is not included directly, but the .XYZ point cloud can be converted in Autodesk ReCap for workflows that require RCP or RCS data.
3D Mesh + Textures
An .OBJ 3D mesh is included with the necessary JPG texture-map image files for compatible 3D applications.
Floor + Ceiling Plans
High-resolution floor-plan and reflected-ceiling-plan images are included in JPG and PDF formats, with multiple files when a model contains multiple floors.

MatterPak is a source-data bundle, not a finished BIM or CAD deliverable. If the project requires a modeled Revit BIM file, a standardized 2D CAD drawing or another finished downstream product, those services should be scoped separately.

The MatterPak bundle is an add-on generated from a processed Matterport model. Pinnacle field capture and other project services are priced separately.
Matterport Add-On Price
The price for the MatterPak bundle is $100. This applies to the downloadable asset bundle itself and does not include the cost of the Matterport capture, site visit, travel, access requirements or other Pinnacle commercial services.

What is included in a MatterPak bundle?

Who is MatterPak designed for?
MatterPak is designed for architects, engineers, construction professionals, developers and design teams that want downloadable Matterport-derived assets for use in compatible third-party applications.
Can MatterPak data be used with Revit or AutoCAD?
Yes, depending on the team's workflow. The XYZ point cloud can be used in compatible applications and can be converted through Autodesk ReCap when an RCP or RCS workflow is needed for AutoCAD or related Autodesk software.
Does MatterPak include an RCP file?
No. Matterport does not include an RCP file directly in the MatterPak bundle. The included XYZ point cloud can be converted to an Autodesk point-cloud format through ReCap.
Is MatterPak the same as a BIM file?
No. MatterPak is a bundle of source assets. A modeled BIM file is a separate deliverable intended to provide an RVT-based starting point for BIM workflows.
How accurate is MatterPak 3D data?
Matterport states that its 3D data is accurate to within 1% of reality. Project teams should still perform professional verification where critical dimensions or construction decisions depend on the data.
Can I download a MatterPak sample before ordering?
Yes. A downloadable MatterPak sample ZIP is provided on this page so your project team can review the files before selecting the service.
How do I request MatterPak for a commercial project?
Use Pinnacle's Commercial Project Scope form and identify that MatterPak is required along with the property address, approximate square footage, intended use and any other requested Matterport deliverables.
